Skin needling can be used for a wide range of skin concerns, including acne, pigmentation, aging, and scars. At Willow, we use the Dermapen 4 to complete our skin needling treatments. The Dermapen is a fantastic device, as it allows skin therapists to change the depth of the needles for different areas on a client’s face. This allows for a more customised and effective treatment.

What is it?

The process of Dermapen skin needling involves piercing the skin with micro, sterile needles. This creates a controlled skin injury that starts an inflammatory response, encouraging your skin to create new cells, elastin and collagen. Dermal needling is a form of collagen induction therapy.

It’s essential to take vitamins A, B, and C to prepare your skin ahead of the needling. We also recommend using a high-quality SPF to protect your skin from UV damage.

Skin Preparation

Before starting dermal needling, we prefer our clients to undergo at least four weeks of advanced Cosmedical-grade skincare. This encourages cell turnover and repair before your needling session.

Dermapen Treatment

This is our standard skin needling treatment and is perfect for first-timers. Dermapen skin needling is the world’s only micro-needling system designed to treat all skin types and conditions.
